tarakos Launches New taraVRbuilder for Digital Simulation Purposes in Material Handling

The german-based Tarakos GmbH presents new possibilities in digital simulation for material handling engineering, warehousing and transport at ProMAT Chicago, booth No. 4854. These will enable digital simulation and logistics specialists as well sales managers of products concerning logistics to obtain complete, three-dimensional animations in no time. The show will also be the beginning of a Support and Implentation partnership with IMPACT Engineering Solutions Inc. of Brookfield Wisconsin. IMPACT is one of the leading providers for solutions in Engineering Support and Consulting services and will provide the implementaion support for taraVRbuilder virtual reality software in the US market.

The software taraVRbuilder is the main subject of the co-operation. It offers easy and comfortable access for small and medium-sized companies to analysis, simulation und optimization of materials handling and transport technology with a personal computer. Using specific libraries it is possible to create plants, conveyer belts and vehicles as realistic, dynamic three-dimensional displays in virtual production buildings. However, due to an intuitive user interface and low requirements to the hardware, the software tool still remains easy to handle and inexpensive to purchase.

The latest version 6.0 of taraVRbuilder will convince users by various, even more attractive innovations: The system now supports configurable mobile rackings, portals with two carriages and intersecting areas of operations for the sequential handling of transport tasks und reversing duties with first in/last out (FILO)-buffer. User can choose from several alternatives of transfer carriages, effectively available rotating racks and many other elements of transport techniques. The new additional library RFID makes it possible to position antennas and display their fields of activity in three dimensional space. Moreover further elements were added the AGV and forklift library now ensure a smooth flow of simulation. Version taraVRbuilder Professional additionally offers a new possibility to configure racks using different kinds of rack elements and combining them flexibly. All this will be shown to interested visitors during ProMAT 2007.

IMPACT Engineering Solutions as the new implementation and support partner is concerned with providing engineering and consulting support for the optimization of industrial processes since 1987. The company, which is located in Chicago and Milwaukee supports numerous CAD/CAE platforms and offers consultancy, engineering and FEA services.

The promising co-operation was initiated by the Indian partner of tarakos, Technosoft Information Technology Ltd., based in Mumbai, which is engaged in businesses of IMPACT. Technosoft as an independent part of the Technocraft Group concentrates on development services, IT-products and –services as well as on Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and the outsourcing of business processes. Technosoft acts globally and is located in India, the USA, Great Britain, Germany and China.
