tarakos makes a splash at the 2005 Hannover Fair
Hannover: With a bigger, redesigned booth, tarakos GmbH successfully projected its presence in the Digital Factory segment of the 2005 Hannover Fair. The new 5.0 beta of taraVRbuilder attracted a lot of attention among visitors. They were particularly impressed by the new time-lapse features, the counter and throughput calculator modules and the library extensions for AGVS and numerous materials handling systems.
Automation engineers also appreciated the real-world benefits of visualizing processes online in 3D with WinCC, especially after tarakos' partner Christiani gave a demonstration with a mechatronics system in the adjacent hall. taraVRcontrol's ability to integrate with any program environment and other process visualization systems stirred up a lot of interest, as did the process visualization component's ease of use and speed in hands-on demonstrations at the tarakos booth.
Topping off the tarakos presence were stereoscopic visualizations of virtual reality scenes at automotive suppliers and carmakers. To present these stereoscopic scenes, we counted on the support of Digital Image and Bitmanagement.
All told, we had almost 200 talks with 200 visitors. In addition to numerous initial contacts, we also met with a lot of current customers and leads with whom tarakos has long maintained relationships. We were able to show many potential customers where our technology is going and demonstrate that, thanks partly to a financial investor, tarakos will continue to grow for years to come.
