tarakos at the 2005 Hannover Fair Digital Factory 2005
taraVRbuilder and taraVRcontrol with new features and stereoscopic visualizer for ultra-realistic 3D effects 3D process visualization comes alive!
Magdeburg/Hannover: This year's Hannover Fair marks the 3rd time that tarakos will have its own booth. In Hall 16, Booth E16 the Digital Factory section Magdeburg-based tarakos GmbH will be presenting the latest enhancements of its virtual reality programs.
Last year, tarakos focused on expanding its client base and finding investors. Its successful trade show presence generated a 30% increase in 2004 sales and moderate net income levels. What is more, tarakos found a financial investor to provide support and guidance for its continued growth.
This year will concentrate on strengthening customer relationships and expanding the company's market position.
However, tarakos will also be unveiling a slew of technical innovations in Hannover. They include the new 5.0 beta of taraVRbuilder with exciting new features (time lapse, AGVS library, calculator module for quantities and throughputs, improved 2D navigation, etc.). Not to mention the new 3D process visualization system in 3D Visualizer / taraVRcontrol, which offers more refreshing and rendering power as well as a plug-in to quickly and easily interface with other systems.
Other companies represented at the tarakos booth are Bitmanagement GmbH, a VRML technology partner, and Digital Image, a manufacturer of affordable portable 3D stereo projector systems. With their support, tarakos will be showing 3D visualization scenes in a full-scale stereoscopic environment. By donning polarized glasses, visitors can experience highly realistic 3D depictions of many different virtual VRML models.
Topping off the trade show presence is a 3D WinCC process visualization that is connected directly to a mechatronic system. This automatic cube assembly system is on loan from Christiani, a vocational training institute.
At the same time, tarakos and its partners Siemens and Christiani have examined the various issues associated with incorporating 3D visualization in education and training programs in a detailed article published in Computer Animation (4/2005).
The tarakos team and managers will be available from the starting date on April 11 to the close of the Fair on April 15 to advise and assist visitors with any issues or questions. Visitors can also schedule an individual appointment by calling +49 (0)391 - 54486 19280.
